Day 1: Pickup and departure to Kidepo Valley National Park via Gulu.
Day 2: Morning and evening game drive
Day 3: Morning game drive and the Karamajong cultural encounter.
Day 4: Return to Kampala
Day One: Pickup and departure to Kidepo Valley National Park via Gulu.
In the morning, our driver guide will pick you from a point of your choice around Kampala and drive to Kidepo Valley National Park via Karuma-Gulu. You will have a stopover in Gulu city for breakfast and relaxation. You will then proceed to Kidepo Valley National Park, check in at the park entrance, and later drive to your respective accommodation facilities and check in for an overnight stay, and later relax as you wait for Dinner.
Day Two: Morning and evening game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park.
You will wake up very early in the morning at 06:00 am and head for a morning game drive accompanied by a game ranger. You will be able to view a variety of wild animals and different bird species. You will then return to your respective accommodations for lunch. You will have time to relax at the accommodation after having lunch. You will then go for an evening game drive in another part of the park to continue viewing different animal and bird species. This will allow you to see more animals, even those you missed in the morning. You will return to the accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.
Day Three: Morning game drive and Karamajong cultural encounter.
You will wake up very early in the morning and go for a morning game drive to continue viewing the wildlife, you will drive back to the hotel relax and have lunch and head to the Karamajong Community for a cultural encounter in the afternoon, you will be able to interact with the community members, learn about their cultures, way of living, dress code, cultural dances and many more. You will drive back to the accommodation later in the evening, have dinner, relax and spend the night there.
Day Four: Return to Kampala
You shall wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and check out of your respective accommodations. You will start the journey and transfer back to Kampala, and the driver will drop you at different points of your choice around Kampala.
