Day 1: Pick-Up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park + Boat Cruise
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up at 6:00 AM from any location of your choice within Kampala. You’ll travel along the scenic Masaka–Mbarara Road, with your first stop at the Equator for a memorable photo session and a light breakfast.
You’ll then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After lunch, enjoy an unforgettable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the cruise, you’ll spot an abundance of aquatic wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species such as African fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. After the cruise, return to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala
Start your day early with a morning game drive at 6:00 AM through the savannah plains of the park. This is the best time to spot a variety of wild animals, including four of the Big Five lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards as well as antelopes, warthogs, and numerous bird species. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Check out and begin your return journey to Kampala, arriving in the evening and concluding your two-day safari experience.
